Miami, Florida, November 28, 2012  Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the hiring of Douglas Pursley as assistant vice president, products and partnerships. He reports to Sharon Freed, senior vice president of consumer marketing.

In this position, he oversees Interval’s product line portfolio, member benefit programs, strategic partner relationships, and product fulfillment and customer insights.

“Doug’s expertise in membership marketing and value proposition development is a real asset as we continue to explore and introduce new programs to build member loyalty,” said Freed. “We’re delighted to welcome him to Interval.”

Prior to joining the company, Pursley was director of marketing strategy and business development for AAA Auto Club South. He also spent more than 15 years as a sales and product marketing executive with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., including the Sam’s Club division. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication.
