1. To be eligible for participation, you must be a qualified sales representative at an Interval International, Inc. (“Interval”) member resort in good standing that is located in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America or South America. Interval reserves the right to reject any member resort from participating in the contest if the resort is not in good standing.
2. Resort must be in active sales.
3. The resort manager/developer of each eligible, participating resort is responsible for nominating one sale representative per Qualifying Period to receive a Winners Circle award. There are two Qualifying Periods: January 1 through April 30, 2010 and May 1 through August 31, 2010. The nominee must be the sales representative who generated the most Interval memberships during the Qualifying Period.
4. The resort manager/developer must complete and submit a Winners Circle nomination and membership sales verification form by the deadline for each Qualifying Period, which is determined by Interval at the beginning of the calendar year. If a form is not received by the deadline date, the resort and its sales representatives will be ineligible for that Qualifying Period.
5. Each sales representative that is nominated will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and lapel pin from Interval.
6. For each Qualifying Period, five (5) names will be randomly selected from each region to receive a gift. The five (5) eligible regions are: Eastern United States and Canada; Western United States and Canada; the Caribbean; Mexico; and Central and South America.
7. Upon the conclusion of both Qualifying Periods, all nominated sale representatives will be entered for a chance to attend the Vacation Ownership Investment Conference (“VOIC”) in Orlando, Florida. If a sales representative was nominated during both Qualifying Periods, that sales representative will be entered twice into the VOIC drawing. Two names will be randomly selected from each region.
8. The ten (10) sales representatives who are selected will receive complimentary registration at VOIC, airfare to and from Orlando, Florida (if applicable) and resort accommodations during VOIC. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by Interval’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated above, including but not limited to, meals, incidentals, luggage fees, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of selected sales representatives. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If in the judgment of Interval, air travel is not required due to the sales representative’s proximity to the event, an alternative award may be made at Interval’s sole discretion. Interval will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Travel award is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at Interval’s sole discretion. Each selected sales representative is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with award receipt and/or use.
9. At VOIC, each of the ten (10) selected regional sales representatives will be invited to attend a special presentation (to be determined by Interval) during the conference. The sales representatives will be asked, in order based on the quantity of Interval memberships generated by each such sales representative, to choose one of ten briefcases. In the event of a tie, the order will be determined alphabetically based on last name. One (1) briefcase will contain a depiction of the Grand Prize; the other remaining nine (9) briefcases will each contain a depiction of the Honorable Mention prize. A sales representative must be present at VOIC to select a briefcase. Each sales representative will be required to sign and return to Interval an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release in order to claim his/her actual prize. Each sales representative will be allowed to retain the briefcase. In the event that a sales representative is disqualified for any reason or unable to be present at VOIC, Interval will retain his/her award.
10. Participation constitutes each sales representative’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Interval’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Winners Circle promotion. Award winners must still be employed by the resort that nominated them for the award at the time the award is given or the award will be forfeited. By receipt of any award, the individual sales representative agrees to release and hold harmless Interval and its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and suppliers, and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Winners Circle promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any award.
11. Participation in the Winners Circle promotion by accepting a nomination constitutes each sales representative’s consent to Interval’s use of their name, likeness, photograph, and/or voice for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
12. Interval reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Winners Circle promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Interval’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Winners Circle promotion as determined by Interval in its sole discretion. Interval reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Winners Circle promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
